Your original receipt is required for all returns and exchanges.
ALL returns are subject to management approval.
Special/custom orders are non-returnable.
Charge to replace lost receipt is $10 per transaction.
Refunds will be issued in the same tender as they were paid.
Refunds for items paid with a check must wait TEN (10) BUSINESS DAYS for refund.
For online orders or rental returns, customers are responsible for return shipping/postage.
REGARDLESS OF YOUR PURCHASE DATE!
New books must free of ALL markings/wear, interior or exterior.
Once any part of a textbook package is opened/scratched/torn, it voids returns.
Abandoned orders or orders not picked up by October 30 (fall) or March 30 (spring) will become property of the University Store.
FALL & SPRING TERMS:
You have ONE (1) WEEK from the first day of class to receive a full refund for textbooks back to the tender used at time of purchase. After this, we implement returns to University Store Gift Cards. See return schedule below:
100% of the book price issued TWO (2) WEEKS from the first day of class.
75% of the book price issued THREE (3) WEEKS from the first day of class
50% of the book price issued FOUR (4) WEEKS from the first day of class.
After these periods, all sales are final, no refunds/returns/exchanges.
WINTER, SUMMER, INTERSESSION & HALF SEMESTER TERMS:
You have THREE (3) DAYS from the first day of class to receive a full refund for textbooks.
Merchandise is returnable for up to TWO (2) WEEKS from purchase date. Items must be returned in the same condition as purchased; includes tags, free of odor or debris.
COMPUTER & ELECTRONICS:
Returns must be completed with in ONE (1) WEEK of receipt.
Previous model products and custom order products are not returnable.
Item(s) must be unopened, in original condition and accompanied by all original packaging.
Item(s) must be accompanied by register or online order receipt.
Open and functional merchandise in resalable condition is exchange only.
Defective product issues are handled through the manufacturer.
ONLINE ORDERING INFORMATION
If you need to return a book purchased online and live outside of Morehead, you may ship the books back to the University Store. You must include in the box a copy of your receipt, a phone number that we can reach you at, a note explaining the return.
You are responsible for any shipping fees involved with the return of your textbooks and these fees will not be refunded.
